General characteristics

It is designed for mechanized open-arc or submerged arc metal deposition in flat position or on horizontal plane at direct current of reverse polarity - DC(+). The deposited metal shows high wear resistance under conditions of high specific pressure and impact loads.

Application

Typical applications are as follows: cladding of hydraulic press plungers, heavy-loaded crane wheels, cladding of parts made of Hadfield type steels (1.2C-l2Mn), coupler parts, blades of hydraulic turbines and propellers as well as ship`s propeller shafts.
