General characteristics

It is designed for automatic and semi-automatic open-arc or gas-shielded arc or submerged arc restoration and hard-facing of parts made of carbon and low-alloyed steels operating under conditions of metal-to-metal friction at room and elevated temperatures.

Application

Typical applications are as follows: hard-facing of crane wheels, supporting rollers, brake pulleys, sliding guides, rollers and tensioning wheels for tracked vehicles, gear teeth, roller necks for continuous casting machines and seat places for shafts etc.
