General characteristics

It is designed for automatic submerged arc cladding of parts made of carbon and low-alloyed steels operating under conditions of metal-to-metal friction at elevated temperatures, thermal cycling and high specific pressures.

Application

Typical applications are as follows: cladding of steel rolls for hot rolling of pipes and other steel products, blades for hot metal cutting, hammer strikers, pulling rollers of coilers and brake pulleys.
