General characteristics
It is designed for automatic and semi-automatic open-arc or gas-shielded arc or submerged arc restoration and hard-facing of parts made of carbon and low-alloyed steels operating under conditions of metal-to-metal friction at elevated temperatures, thermal cycling and high specific pressures.
Application
Typical applications are as follows: hard-facing of blades for cold and hot metal cutting,
trimming and cleaning punches, plate
straightening rollers, rollers for solid mineral
grinding mills and stone crushers, scrapers,
feeding screws, excavating machinery,
choppers and shovel blades and others.
