General characteristics

It is designed for automatic as well as semi-automatic open-arc or gas-shielded arc or submerged arc restoration and hard-facing of parts made of carbon and low-alloyed steels operating under conditions of metal-to-metal friction at room and elevated temperatures.

Application

Typical applications are as follows: mechanized hard-facing of thrust bearing for carriages of railroad cars, rollers of running gear for tracked vehicles, gearwheels, rollers for roller conveyors, crane wheels, bandages for tram wheels, brake pulleys and shaft seating places etc.
The wire has found wide application at railroad car repairing Mo- 0.6 yards and machine engineering plants.
