General characteristics

It is designed for high-speed single- or multi-pass automatic robotized arc welding of metal structures of carbon and low-alloyed steels as well as ship-building steels in flat position using shielding atmosphere of argon-based gas mixtures. No intermediate removing of slag is needed at welding of filling passes at multi-layer welding due to small amount of the formed slag. As compared to arc welding with solid wire, this wire improves weld formation, ensures slight spattering and lower welding fume generation in welding zone. It is used for welding of different purpose metal structures. For example, welding of thin metal parts, car body parts, building metal structures, as well as in transport and load-lifting machine engineering branches of industry.

Application

The wire is used for arc welding of high-duty metal structures with heightened plasticity requirements at low temperatures being set to.
