General characteristics

It is designed for open-arc or gas-shielded arc metal deposition of strengthening layers as applied to impact-and-abrasive and gas-abrasive wear.

Application

Typical applications are as follows: hard-facing of blades for smoke exhausters, operating parts of construction machines and road construction equipment such as bucket teeth for bucket-wheel excavators, bucket noses, cutting edges of excavator buckets, blades for graders and scrapers, shovels for ground-displacing machines as well as hopper cone for blast furnaces.
